This is a name of a cafe in Chennai. Well, sort of. Actually, the real name is "Coffee..?" but for some mysterious reason people call it pothole. Its nothing like a pothole though. Its really a lovely place with an ambiance perfectly suitable for enjoying a good one hour break from everything and anything. So this place is close to music college, off a noisy road, in a quiet lane. There is just one waiter, who is quiet a laid back guy. Never hurries up things and lets you waste as much time as you like. Just as you enter, you see a sofa, on which I never sit. But thats because there are always people who prefer sofa over chairs and they are already on it. You turn to your right and there is another cozy looking room with about 4 table with chairs. Really simple. The walls are awesome orange with mild and warm lights. Music is never a hindrance to any conversation, however, a lot of times they play good stuff. (Classical, indie, even soft rock). Food served is only vegetarian but quality is say 3/5 (I am too picky about food... 3/5 read as very good). I best like their coffee called three's company. Its a combination of coke, coffee and chocolate and it absolutely kicks a@#!!! And whats more, I keep going there but never get bored of that place. Do try it out, if you happen to be one of those lucky souls staying in Chennai. (Am I really saying this???)
What next?.... When I was a kid, I always thought that there is a certain age till when this question will bother me and after that, like for my parents, things will be in order. Life will fall into a routine and I will never again be confronted with this demon called "what next?". But turns out, for our generation, there is no point of rest. The demon is a part of our life like stability was for the generation before us. This realisation is also stale by now. In fact, it has been more than a few years since I even resigned to this way of life. The time period between such a realisation and resignation was hard, I must confess. But not anymore! The confrontations with this demon are a reassurance of life itself! (feels embarrassed after having said such things....) My childish philosophies may be sounding hilarious to you (reader). (Thank me for the entertainment! You are welcome!) What I wish to announce is: for a while, I do have an answer to one such "what next...?...
